On Friday, December 22, 2017, we and our allies will hold, as part of the ongoing monthly Days of Actions against Wells Fargo bank, peaceful direct actions against the lender for its financial support of the Keystone XL pipeline. On day 1 of the Days of Actions, join us for peaceful direct actions at Wells Fargo Bank branches in 1) Washington, DC; or 2) Chesapeake, VA. To RSVP for an action, contact its leader below.

DETAILS re the Days of Actions (day 1) vs Wells Fargo

1st, 2nd, & 3rd actions, organized by Climate First! - Washington, DC.

When: Friday, December 22, 2017, 11 am to 2 pm.

Where: For these back-to-back actions, we'll meet at 11 am for a quick planning session at Peet’s Coffee, 601 13th St NW, in Washington, DC. Then we'll march less than a block to the nearby Wells Fargo bank branch for the 1st action. Around 12:15 pm, we'll march for five minutes to the second Wells Fargo at 1350 New York, NW (14th & New York). Around 1 pm, we'll march for five minutes to the third Wells Fargo at 1300 I Street, NW (13th & Eye). We'll finish the 3rd action at 2 pm. Closest metro station to initial meeting spot: Metro Center (Red, Orange, & Blue lines); use exit for 13th & G streets.

4th action, organized by Chesapeake Pipeline Resistance, Hampton Roads Green Party, & Chesapeake Bay Group Sierra Club - Chesapeake, VA.

When: Thursday, December 21, 2017, 5 to 6 pm. Please note: this action has been changed to Thursday, Dec. 21st.

Where: We'll meet at 5 pm at the Wells Fargo bank branch on 1208 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, VA.
