With President "Drill-Baby-Drill" Coming Soon, How Can We Save the Climate?

Join with a diverse group of climate movement leaders and U.S. congressional members this coming Tuesday evening at George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. (or online), for a critical event--"The Climate Fight Ahead" rally. This event is an effort to figure out how the climate movement can advocate for climate protection, clean energy, and environmental justice, during a pro-fossil fuels administration and beyond. See "details" below.

With Donald Trump soon to become president again, building a powerful climate movement to save the climate is more important than ever! The former president has promised major changes to climate and environmental policy, including withdrawing the United States from the Paris Climate Accord, ending President Biden's pause on new LNG facilities, recovering clean energy subsidies, weakening protections for endangered species, expanding oil and gas drilling on/in federal lands and waters, loosening rules on power plant emissions, among other climate-wrecking changes.

Join Climate First! and many others as the climate movement regroups, learns together, and talks about next steps for the climate fight ahead. The following invited/confirmed speakers will share their thoughts about the movement going forward: Jane Fonda, Roishetta Ozane, Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Senator Ed Markey, Senator Bernie Sanders, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar,  Rep. Maxwell Frost, Rep. Melanie Stansbury, and other folks.
