Ted Conwell is founder and director of Climate First!, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the climate from any further deterioration, by engaging in grassroots organizing and political advocacy mostly in the Mid-Atlantic region. Using direct actions and other nonviolent tactics, Climate First! encourages corporations - usually major U.S. banks - to dramatically reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, while fully embracing clean energy. In addition, the nonprofit also advocates for climate-friendly legislation and programs at all levels of governments. Ted also serves as president of the organization's Board of Directors.
