No Dakota Access Pipeline!

Climate First! will pressure lenders in the U.S. to stop financing the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, a multi-state pipeline which will carry over 500,000 barrels of low-cost crude oil per day, and which threatens a North Dakota tribe’s drinking water supplies and sacred burial grounds. More critically, the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) will severely undermine the United States ability to meet emission targets it agreed to in the 2015 Paris climate agreement.

Climate First! has been confronting Citibank and TD Bank since September 2016 over their roles in the financing of DAPL. Individuals and businesses, especially those with a financial relationship with Citibank or TD Bank, are encouraged to ask the lenders to divest from DAPL. If the bank does not honor your request, they do not deserve your business.
