While the Trump administration is a disaster when it comes to saving the climate, there is still hope! Help Climate First! pressure one of the banks that is funding the Keystone XL pipeline--Wells Fargo--to cut its ties with the climate-wrecking project. Join us as we run two peaceful direct actions back-to-back against Wells Fargo in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, April 20, 2017. We'll call on the bank to end its lending to TransCanada, the Canadian company that wants to finish building the KXL pipeline and then start shipping the polluting tars sands from Canada to the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Details: Meet at SW corner of Farragut Square (17th and I St., NW) at 11:30 am. The Square is close to both Farragut North (Red) and Farragut West (Org, Silv, & Blue) Metro Stations. After a quick training, we'll walk to the nearby branches of Wells Fargo for the actions. Come to just one action or both actions! Please RSVP below.
