As President Trump continues to move the U.S closer to an oligarchy, an ever-growing share of the country's population strongly opposes the authoritarian excesses and corruption of his administration. And now, we the people will have a powerful opportunity to push back big time with another "No Kings!" National Day of Action. Join Climate First! and many others during this mass mobilization on Saturday, October 18, 2025. See "DETAILS" below.

This is bigger than just a political disagreement. Trump and his cronies have defied the courts, tried to reduce the use of clean energy while encouraging the growth of climate-wrecking fossil fuels, deported American citizens, altered the critical missions of federal agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice, sent military troops to various Democratic cities, and slashed services that millions of Americans depend on — all while orchestrating a massive giveaway to their fossil fuel billionaire allies.

While Climate First! continues to push banks, and other financial institutions to end their financial backing of dirty fossil fuels, and to fully support renewable energy, we believe that fighting to protect our democracy is also critical if we are to rein in catastrophic climate change. Thus, we will be attending a "No Kings" action on October 18, 2025 in Washington, D.C. And we encourage you to join a No Kings event near you.

We need to build a powerful rejection of this crisis. Therefore, there are events planned across the country, in major cities and small towns in every state. The National Day of Action will show that we--the majority--are taking action to stop the corruption and power grab.

Bring some friends, and join with your community to create a show of strength against the destruction of our democratic values and institutions. And be part of a national moment that changes the conversation — and turns the tide.
