On Friday, August 24th, and Saturday, August 25th, we and our allies will have—for the 17th month in a row—Days of Actions against Wells Fargo bank for its funding of the Keystone XL pipeline. Join us for peaceful direct actions at various Wells Fargo branches in the Mid-Atlantic region.

On Saturday, August 25th, peaceful direct actions will be held at Wells Fargo branches in NE Washington, DC and Virginia Beach, VA. For details, including to RSVP, see below.

DETAILS re the Days of Actions (Day 2) vs Wells Fargo

1. The action is being organized by Climate First!.

When: Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11 am to 1 pm.
Where: We'll meet at 11 am for a short planning session at McDonald's, 2228 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, DC; the McDonald's is located on the north side of New York Ave, just west of the intersection of New York Ave and Bladensburg Road. Park in the large parking lot behind (and to the east of) the McDonald's. After the meeting, we’ll walk to the nearby Wells Fargo branch on Bladensburg Road.

2. The action is being organized by Chesapeake Pipeline Resistance.

When: Saturday, August 25, 2018, 5 to 6 pm.
Where: We'll meet at 5216 Fairfield Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, VA.
