Major U.S. banks are continuing to invest massively in climate-wrecking fossil fuels despite warnings from the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and International Energy Agency (IEA) that greenhouse gas pollution mitigation must start immediately. Climate scientists continually report that we don't have much time left to avoid a climate catastrophe. 

The good news is that Climate First! and many other groups are working to get the climate-polluting banks to stop doing business-as-usual by getting the lenders' customers involved. Therefore, we and other activists are putting a lot of effort into a campaign called Customers for Climate Justice (C4CJ). The C4CJ campaign is an effort by the nationwide coalition, Stop the Money Pipeline (STMP). And Climate First! is a long-time member of  the powerful STMP coalition, now close to 200 groups and growing quickly!

We will win this fight to preserve our climate because we have to. However, to continue our critical work, Climate First! needs your financial help to cover expenses involving communication and travel, as well as basic expenses such as office rent and a new computer.
