Young students in the U.S. are calling on thousands of adults to join "climate strikes" at Chase Bank branches around the U.S., all in an effort to force action by the banks that are funding the climate crisis. 

Join us this coming Friday, December 20th, for a "climate strike" at a Chase branch in Silver Spring, MD, or McLean, VA, as we tell the lender our feelings about its status as the #1 investor in fossil fuels of any bank in the world. See details below.

Action #1 in Silver Spring, MD, organized by Climate First!.

What: A short march, followed by a lunchtime protest at the local Chase Bank.
When: 11:30 am to 1 pm, Friday, Dec. 20, 2019. Limited time? Meet us around noon at the Chase bank, 8435 Georgia Ave.
Where: Meet at the holiday tree at 11:30 am on Fountain Plaza, Silver Spring Town Center, 921 Ellsworth Drive, Silver Spring, MD. If rain or low temps, meet at nearby Potbelly Sandwich Shop, 917 Ellsworth Drive. 
Misc: Meeting spot is a 10 min walk from Silver Spring Metro Station.

Action #2 in McLean, VA, organized by Climate First!.

What: A short march, followed by a lunchtime protest at the local Chase Bank.
When: 11:30 am to 1 pm, Friday, Dec. 20, 2019. Limited time? Meet us at 12:10 pm at the bank, 1300 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA.
Where: Meet at Sweet Leaf Cafe at 11:30 am, 1359 Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA; limited parking in front of cafe, but there is a parking lot in back.  
Misc: The Chase Bank is a short walk from the cafe.
