As part of the Stop the Money Pipeline coalition--a 200 group nationwide coalition--Climate First! is pushing financial institutions in our country to STOP financing climate-wrecking fossil fuels, and quickly transition to funding clean energy. Recently, we had a productive telephone conference call with executives at Bank of America about these issues. Going forward, we are trying to schedule similar conversations with other major U.S. banks in an effort to encourage them to also start moving quickly away from dirty fossil fuels, while embracing renewable energy investments. 

We will win this fight to preserve our climate because we have to. However, to continue our critical work, Climate First! needs your financial help to cover expenses involving communication and travel, as well as basic expenses such as office rent and a new computer.
