We are living at a crucial moment in history. If we don’t end our use of fossil fuels in the coming years, so much that we care about will be lost. Unfortunately, with former President Trump returning to the Oval Office on January 20, 2025, and prepared to follow-through with his plans to: 1) withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord; 2) "drill, baby, drill"; and 3) pursue other actions to back-up his assertion that climate change is a "hoax", avoiding a climate apocalypse will become even more challenging. Importantly, however, President Biden still has 65 days left to implement safeguards to slow the repealing of, if not permanently preserving, his administration's climate work, much of which has been historically ground-breaking.
Join Climate First! and others in Washington, D.C. this coming Sunday afternoon as we call on President Biden to make a strong effort to permanently protect the good things that his administration has done for the climate, before Trump and others take control of the federal government, and attempt to undo all the climate actions.
