Hey Wells Fargo: Start Acting Like There's a Climate Emergency!

For the 20th month in a row, Climate First! has scheduled a Days of Actions against Wells Fargo bank for its funding of the Keystone XL pipeline and other extreme fossil fuel projects. Join us for two back-to-back nonviolent direct actions against Wells Fargo in Washington, D.C. as we deliver to the bank branches the recently-released IPCC report regarding possible catastrophic climate change. DETAILS

When: Friday, November 9, 2018, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Where: Meet at 11:30 am for short planning session at Pret A Manger, 1701 K Street, NW, Washington, DC. Then we’ll march to the Wells Fargo branches, first to 1001 Connecticut Ave, NW, and then to 1700 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, delivering the IPCC report at each location. Closest metro station to meeting spot: Farragut North (Red line); use K Street exit.

MISC. INFO: Actions go forward rain or shine. Dress for weather, and bring food/water. Make a sign if you can. Please note that Days of Actions vs Wells Fargo will (nearly always) occur on the 2nd Friday and 4th Saturday of every month.
