We March in the Streets: "Hey U.S. Gov't-- Stop Line 3 Now!"

This Monday, August 23, 2021, ShutDownDC is running an action in Washington, D.C., which will call on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) to revoke its permit for the Line 3 pipeline. Please join Climate First! and many others in the action, as we fight to stop the construction of the climate-wrecking Line 3 in Minnesota.

As the recent U.N. report concluded, the world is currently in a climate emergency. And a fossil fuel project such as the tar sands oil-carrying Line 3, which will have the climate impact of 50 new coal-fired power plants, would only make things dramatically worse. Since Line 3 is reportedly on schedule to be finished and carrying tar sands oil by the end of the year, it is critical that we put the maximum pressure ASAP on the U.S. Administration to withdrawal its support for the pipeline project. For event details & to SIGN-UP, scroll down.
