Join the protest tomorrow--Veterans Day--at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. to end war and save the climate. See details below
As world leaders meet in Egypt for the 27th U.N. Climate Change Conference (AKA COP27), Veterans for Peace, ShutDownDC, Fridays for Future DC, and others in the U.S. are planning bold action across the country to challenge the role of the U.S. military in the climate crisis. The U.S. military is the largest single institutional emitter of greenhouse gases in the world, and therefore is a key player in the climate crisis. Without ending its addition to militarism, the United States cannot ever fully address its major role in the world's deteriorating climate.
Come join Veterans for Peace, ShutDownDC, Fridays for Future DC, and others (Climate First! will be there!) at the U.S. State Department to demand that the U.S. start reducing the impact of its military on the climate crisis.
