Climate First!'s 8th Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2021. And for our virtual Annual Meeting, we are honored to have as our keynote speaker, Eugene DePasquale.
Mr. DePasquale is a former two-term Pennsylvania Auditor General and three term state legislator. He has long been an environmental champion and has authored the hallmark Alternative Energy Investment Act. As state Auditor, Eugene blazed a new trail by releasing a report detailing the financial impacts to taxpayers from climate change. He recently lost a very tight congressional race in Pennsylvania's 10th district, and is now a Constitutional Law Professor at Widener University School of Law in Chester, Pennsylvania. The title of Eugene's talk will be: "The Financial Cost to Taxpayers from Climate Change; Building New Allies".
In the meeting, Climate First! will also look back at its' past year, as well as--excitingly--look forward to how the organization plans to go forward amid the dramatic proposals and policies being announced by corporations and governments alike to address the climate crisis. Please RSVP below.
